John Markson is the founder and President of MarksonHRC.
John has over 25 years of experience in consulting on executive and broad-based compensation and benefit issues. Prior to starting MarksonHRC, he held several executive human-resource roles at Mobil Oil and served as a managing partner at Towers Perrin - a global management consulting firm.
John has consulted with some of the world's largest companies on compensation and benefit-related issues including plan design, implementation and administration. He takes a practical approach to applying his technical and strategic expertise and believes that the most sophisticated designs lose much of their value if they cannot be practically implemented and administered.
John graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in economics and from George Washington University with an MBA in finance. He is a credentialed actuary and a frequent speaker on human resource and actuarial-related topics.
John is also a co-founder of the non-profit 504 School. The 504 School, located in Atlanta, specializes in educating children with severe AD/HD and associated learning disabilities. |
